Chitrakote Falls, Chhattisgarh

Also known as the Niagara Falls of India. Chitrakote Falls are the broadest falls that cover the floors of the country. These falls have several hundreds of travelers visiting the place all year round. Also named as Chitrakoot, these falls flow down from around 300 m above the ground level and look heavenly during monsoon. Chitrakote originates from the Indravati River .

How To Reach: There are public buses available from Jagdalpur which is 38 kms away.

Best Time To Visit: July to March

NOHSNGITHIANG WATERFALLS

   Nohsngithiang Falls, Meghalaya The north eastern region of this country is blessed immensely with the wonders of mother nature.
